Zion Lutheran Church, 5201 Park Boulevard, Piedmont/Oakland
7 scholarships will be awarded between the amounts of $1,000 - $1,600 to be used for voice lessons and coachings.
We are looking for classically-trained young artists who would like to apply for our annual scholarship awards. Applicants must be Northern California / San Francisco Bay Area residents through June 2015 .
If you have singers who would like to apply, please give them copies of the following information or send them to the website to download an auditions packet. Your students will find it easy to download the fillable PDFs onto their computers, type in their info and then print up the forms to send while saving a copy for their own records.
We encourage singers who have previously auditioned with us, but who did NOT win an award, to audition again. Once they have been granted an award, they are not eligible to apply again.
Please retain the original copies of this announcement in your file and give copies to your singers. We have attached a PDF of all application and informational materials below.

The National Music Theater Competition
ONLY ONE WEEK REMAINS ...
APPLICATION DEADLINE IS SATURDAY, MARCH 1
The National Music Theater Competition is seeking the best emerging music theater soloists, those who just need that one break to move their careers forward. To be eligible, applicants must be between ages 20-28 as of March 1, 2014. The preliminary rounds of the competition take place in New York City, Chicago, or Los Angeles in May 2014. An online video submission round is also available for participants who cannot travel to the live audition sites.
Approximately 24 singers advance to the semifinal and final rounds - to be held during the NATS National Conference in Boston, July 4-5, 2014.
